I have never had the pleasure of receiving a box quite like this one. I am in love with products from other countries and to have a box of items made entirely by hand from artists in remote areas of the world is fantastic! Not only am I getting handmade items, but I'm supporting the artisans in other countries and getting the opportunity to hear their stories!
What's Inside:
Each box includes cards with the artisans name, picture and background story. I like this aspect because it makes your purchase feel more personal.
The first item in the box is this beautiful, woven basket! This basket was made by Profiria and Margarita in Oaxaca, Mexico.
The next items are African Black Soap and Shea Body Butter made by Comfort Adjahoe in Accra, Ghana.
And the last items are a beautiful fabric wine bag and a pink, floral headband, made by Esther Gyepi-Garbrah in Cape Coast, Ghana.
All of these ladies did a fantastic job creating these products! They are very talented and it was an honor to purchase their goods. I highly recommend this box if you are a lover of artisan crafts, collector of cultural wares or would like to support artisans in remote areas of the world.
