So I made my weekly trip to get supplies, and now I have some new ideas in the works. I'm going to be making business card holders for shows, some pirate photo holders, a "Rock Band" themed photo holder, and i have created my FIRST skull character. I have named her Shelly and she will be featured on coasters and photo holders!


I'm also more then happy to accept suggestions for future work! If you have a favorite character you would like to see or theme let me know! I can make it happen!

ETSY Does a Craft Demo at Books-A-Million in Kissimmee

So I'm in the Florida Etsy Street Team and a few of the other members and I will be doing a craft demo at Books-A-Million in Kissimmee on Saturday August 9th. If your in the area PLEASE come out and see us! We will be promoting Etsy, the Florida Etsy Street Team and Etsy's Reading Street Team, as well as helping promote the Arts and Crafts book sales for this store! You can come out and see live demos of how to make jewelry, and upcycled coasters! We are going with a "Go Green" theme and hoping to spread the name of Etsy to more people!

New Listing for Today!!

I have added a new listing to my shop today. The fabulous GIR has made his appearance in my shop today, and is looking for a home! You can find him in my shop ready to move in to your heart! Keep an eye out for Jack Skellington from A Nightmare Before Christmas, he's coming soon to my shop soon, as well. I have a few more really neat photo holders coming, a REALLY Skull-rific set of coasters, and an Invader Zim coaster set!

By the way, if you see any photo holders you like and would LOVE to have them as a set of coasters, let me know! I can make that happen!

I have finished my Chalkboard photo holders, now for them to dry and I can take pictures and list them! YAY! I'm also going to do chalkboard magnets for the fridge. So keep an eye out for these new items! I'm also ALMOST done with my first set of CD coasters so when those are dry, I will seal them and then list those as well.

Increasing Sales, YAY!

So I've had a bit of a lucky streak I guess. My sales have finally picked up after a month or so of sloth-ness. I have to say its a very big improvement and I'm liking it a lot. I don't know what has caused it, either my Etsy URL on my car, my blog, my 50% Jewelry Sale until Aug. 22nd [hint hint ;)] Maybe I was in a treasury that I don't know about? I don't know, but what ever it was I liked it!


I'm starting a new project. No not a completely new item line. I'm going to make more photo holders but this time with chalkboard paint. This way buyers can "interact" with my work =) You'll be able to write the names of who is in the photo your displaying, or if your giving it as a gift, you can write a message to the gift receiver, either way, I think it's a fun way for buyer to be able to "customize" their own designed photo holder. I'm hoping it will be a hit, so we will see! Favorite my shop, and keep an eye out!

Destashing Jewelry Supplies

Since I'm going to be taking my shop into a different direction I'm going to start destashing a lot of my jewelry supplies. If anyone is interested in any beads, embroidery floss, or scrapbooking supplies let me know i have a ton of things i need to clear out to get new supplies and materials!

So I have a few more little creations up my sleeves! A set of coasters is on it's way to my shop soon, a new photo holder made of magazine pages, and some nice upcycled wall art! I'm also going to be working on a new line of photo holders soon that should be really exciting!

So, I've been having a rough couple of months, but things are FINALLY starting to look up. The past week or so I have had a few sales and I have been working on some new creations to add to my shop. As you have read in the previous entries, I'm clearing out my jewelry stock to make room for more items. 5 of my items have already expired and more will be expiring on the 13th, so check them out if you interested!
